Obedience in the Labour Market and Social Mobility: A Socioeconomic Approach

This paper presents an analysis of what types values, especially in regard to obedience vs. independence, families impart their children, and how these values interact with social mobility. In the model, is a useful characteristic for employers, when wages are low, because independent workers require more incentives (when high, automatic). Hence low-wage environments, low-income will children prevent disadvantaging them labour market. To extent that independence entrepreneurial activities, this then depresses High-income privileged parents, on other hand, always since they expect can enter into higher-income (or managerial) activities thanks family resources privileges.
